The crowning glory was The Taste of Maputo Tour. We had the best guide ever – his name was Alfonso (we were on bus number 24). He was willing to stop almost anywhere we wanted (that it was possible) so we could get off the bus to take photos. It was especially good at Independence Square, the Iron House and the Botanical Gardens. He said he though we were supposed to have a Panoramic Tour, but he was willing to stop and let us get out for photos when we asked him. He tried oh so hard to please and he did. It was absolutely delightful and I am so glad I signed up for this tour because I had the chance to interact with some really great people and see all the sights. Thanks again for helping me to make it happen!

Mozambique, I just had THE best time, Dana Tours were fantastic, the arrangements went like clockwork & when there was a small hiccup (getting bumped off a flight) they were able to fix immediately. Edna (Dana) arranged a day tour to Swaziland (Eswatini) which was an unexpected side trip. Can’t say enough about Mozambique, Maputo was fun, Gorongosa Nat Park was fantastic, the Islands were both beautiful in different ways. Spending my birthday at the White Pearls Resort with my family was a fairy tale. Not just Dana Tours great support for the booking of the day, but also the whole magic with the birthday itself and having the birthday cake and the team singing to us. The White Pearl resort is heaven on earth! The incredible amount of activities is also excellent and there is fun for everyone. Once again for helping us make that day so magical.

The only negative aspect of the trip was the journey from Gorongosa to Vilankulo, due to the state of the roads. It would have been preferable to do it by plane. It was very comforting to know that Dana Tours was looking after us throughout the whole trip. It has given us great peace of mind and it is very much appreciated.
