Expenses incurred relating to delays are for the guest´s account.

The onus is on each guest to check that all travel documents are in order.

Passport: Must have minimum of 6 months after intended return date and a minimum of 3 blank pages; guest should always carry their passport or a certified copy of the main page plus the visa page. It is mandatory for all visitors to Mozambique to have their passports stamped upon both entry and exit from the country. This crucial process helps to ensure proper documentation and compliance with Mozambican immigration regulations. To avoid any inconvenience during your trip, we kindly request that you double-check your passport and ensure it is stamped upon arrival and departure. The immigration authorities at the Mozambique entry and exit points will be responsible for this stamping process. Failure to do so could result in substantial fines.

Visas: The onus is on each guest to check the latest information pertaining to their nationality. A range of visas, including tourist, business and investment visas are available, the most common being Border and Tourist Visas. As of 1 May 2023, the Mozambican Government has granted visa exemption to 29 countries. For more information on the new eVisa system (including documentation required) and visa exemption countries, please click here. At present, some SADC member state nationals are exempt of visas for Mozambique. Travellers should check the conditions of carriage with their travel service provider, as some airlines may require that a pre-approved visa is presented prior to boarding. To get latest visa information one should contact one’s nearest Mozambique High Commission. Dana Tours does not accept any responsibility for any consequences whatsoever resulting from a guest’s failure to ensure that they have complied with the necessary requirements.

Health: The guest acknowledges being aware of the proposed itinerary and it is the guest’s obligation to ensure that he/she is medically fit & able to embark upon travel. Mozambique is a malaria area, and it is recommended that one checks requirements with one’s health care provider before travelling. All those travelling from or in transit from a yellow fever destination should have a yellow fever certificate. One is encouraged to check the World Health Organization’s website for the latest health alerts.

Vehicle Rental: If a rental car is booked, the guest must present a valid driver’s license and credit card.

Documentation will only be prepared on receipt of full payment.
