Meet the Dana Tours team: Narcisia Psumgo 

In the latest in our Meet the Team blog series, we’d like to introduce you to Narcisia Psumgo, Dana Tours Office Assistant. What would we do without her! 

Narcisia looks after everyone in the office – from the other members of the team to visitors and clients. She ensures the office is a clean and welcoming space and runs all sorts of errands to help the team function at its best.

Narcisia is born and bred in Mozambique and started working in 2013.

Tell us about your family. 

My family is very beautiful. It is made up of 4 members: my husband, my children and myself. 

What do you enjoy about your job?  

In general, I like my work and the company of everyone.  

What do you do in your spare time? How do you relax?  

I like to go out with my family or stay at home.  

Your favourite places in Mozambique and why?  

My favourite place is at home. (ed’s note: ahh!) 

Your favourite local dish (and maybe a recipe)?  

My favourite dish is Cacana. It’s a vegetable dish made with peanuts and coconut milk.  

What can guests look forward to in Mozambique?  

There is a lot to enjoy in Mozambique. Beautiful beaches and lots of places to go out.

What do visitors and clients love to see and do in Mozambique? 

They like to go to historical places, the beaches and to eat local food! 

What are you most grateful for?  

I’m grateful for the gift of life. 

What have you always wanted to do?   

To travel around the world and to go to China.  

Tell us something most people don’t know about you!   

I am too sensitive but I don’t like other people to know.  

Anything else you think is interesting.  

That without hard work, nothing can be achieved. It is necessary to work hard.  

What do you want everyone in the world to know right now?  

That we must be grateful for the gift of life and to enjoy life because we only have one.
