Meet the Dana Tours Team: Ganhane Macamo

We are thrilled to introduce you to the exceptional members of our team here at Dana Tours. Today, let us proudly present Ganhane Macamo, one of our esteemed office assistants who plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless functioning of our operations.

At 72 years of age, Macamo brings a wealth of experience and a positive attitude to his role. Hailing from Chibuto-Gaza, his commitment to his job shines through as he takes care of the office space and ensures our vehicles are clean and well-maintained. Macamo’s passion for his work is evident as he shares his enthusiasm, “I like to work at Dana Tours.”

Family is at the core of Macamo’s life, and he takes great joy in living with his two children and grandchildren. His love for them reflects in the way he diligently takes care of his home and manages household chores, including washing clothes.

Having been born in Gaza, the region holds a special place in Macamo’s heart, and it’s evident that fond memories and emotional connections make it all the more meaningful for him.

When it comes to food, Macamo savors traditional Mozambican cuisine, particularly “Xima” (pap) served with “matsau” (pumpkin leaf), a classic combination that brings a nostalgic taste of home.

Gratitude is a value deeply instilled in Macamo, and he takes a moment to “thank God for having a job.” His contentment with his work and life is evident as he aspires to “rehabilitate my home” and dreams of living “more years in harmony with my children.”

We are incredibly proud to have him as part of our Dana Tours family and are grateful for the hard work he puts in day after day.
